Not long after buying Spicy, my parents and I wanted her to have a foal (to start my herd). We picked out an ex-racehorse, a beautiful dark bay Thoroughbred, to be the sire (left photo). Eleven months later, Miss B. Hayve (Missy) was born. The left photo is day one--about eight hours after birth.
