This is the first guitar I built. The soundboard is Sitka spruce, and the sides and back are black walnut. The neck and head are maple with ebony fingerboard and head lamination. The "Coog Moon" is ivory, from old scrap pieces I've found over the years at flea markets. The tuners are Schallers. The bridge I bought from Stewart-MacDonald (I make my own now) as well as the soundhole inlay. The binding came from Southern Lumber in San José. With medium-gauge silk and steel strings, the tone is not exceedingly loud but throaty (fairly deep with midrange-type treble). It's fun to play old Dylan tunes on this one.
